June 2008: Cryo-Trans, Inc. named “National Transportation Supplier of the Year” by Frito-Lay, a business unit of PepsiCo, Inc.
 

Cryo-Trans, Inc. was recently named “National Transportation Supplier of the Year” by Frito-Lay North America. The award honors Cryo-Trans for helping Frito-Lay fulfill its sustainability goals by providing a more environmentally-friendly mode of transportation and reducing transportation expenses. “Cryo-Trans recognize the importance of sustainability to Frito-Lay and PepsiCo. As a valued partner they helped us make positive changes to benefit the environment,” said Rodney Noble, Senior Group Manager – Inbound Transportation, Frito-Lay North America.

Cryo-Trans announces placement of 429 refrigerated boxcar order with Greenbrier

Owings Mills, MD, January 19, 2006 – Cryo-Trans, Inc. a major leasing company specializing in the development and leasing of railroad freight cars for transporting frozen and perishable products, announced it placed an order in November, 2005 for 429 new refrigerated boxcars. These state-of-the-art railcars ordered from The Greenbrier Companies, Inc. [NYSE:GBX] have an interior length of 72’ and have the highest cubic capacity in the industry, at 7,765 cu. ft. The cars will be delivered later this year.
