Perryville Cold Storage is designed to accommodate high volume rail and truck traffic utilizing 33 truck dock doors, 8 rail doors , a railcar storage track capacity of 50 cars with a dedicated owned switch engine, a sixty foot refrigerated dock and a 100+ capacity trailer staging area. There is also a rail to truck cross dock area for those customers wanting to take advantage of the economic benefits of rail shipping but do not have a direct rail access point. The MHW Group family of companies, headquartered in Owings Mills, Maryland, operates public and dedicated refrigerated cold storages, a refrigerated rail car leasing company, Cryo-Trans, Inc. and a full service truck transportation company, Cryo-Trans Logistics. The public refrigerated warehouses are located in Perryville, Maryland and Chambersburg, Pennsylvania together with privately operated refrigerated facilities located in Darien, Wisconsin and Waseca, Minnesota.
